“Good people die and no man can understand or even care, but when they die, no calamity can hurt them; those who live good live to find peace and rest in the Lord.” – Isaiah 57:1-2
Dr. Seth Sengretsi, affectionately known as Torde Seth our dearest younger brother and favorite uncle to our children Sherri, Alan and Breeze, you have left us in deep sorrow as you departed to eternity… hmmm… Torde, even though we knew about your health issues, we were not expecting the news of your demise on the day it happened, it feels like someone has punched us in our stomachs.
Seth will always be remembered by those of us who knew him as a man of intelligence, awesome humility, loving, caring, humorously funny, and most of all respectful. We are very blessed to have had you in our lives especially to our children Sherri and Alan as a mentor, a counselor and pillar of support during their tender years in primary and secondary school.
Alan still holds in high esteem how you tutored him academically and taught him to play chess and ensured he mastered it well. Despite the things we wished we had done together, we are forever grateful for all the good times we shared.
In paying tribute to you, we sincerely wish to praise the name of our Lord God Almighty for your life; a wonderful, selfless kind-hearted brother and uncle. Your memory will refresh our hearts and strengthen us in times of challenges.
Doc, Papase, Torde Seth, Rest well,
Hedenyuie!
Dzudzor, Dzudzor le nutifafa me!
